This is part 2 of “Two for the Price of One”.
12 years post bilateral mastectomy, I’m feeling severe back pain. My rheumatologist said he couldn’t give me more/stronger pain meds. My primary care physician recommended that I go to my oncologist. I went, had the MRIs, bone scans, etc. Which confirmed the new diagnosis of metastatic osteosarcoma. I was immediately started on the highest strength of IBrance (125 mg). In several months, I was in remission. Apparently, it takes a village and a guardian angel to raise a cancer patient! My only complaint is about the bruising I was left with when the hospital nursing staff couldn’t find a vein.
